Out...on the town and like a light!

I'm really tired right now and should've gone to bed about two hours ago. Instead I had the wonderful opportunity of calling my grandmother to wish her happy birthday and to chat with her and my grandfather about life. Plus I got to video chat with one of my best friends for the first time in over a month. And on top of that, I went on the canal tour today with Esben, Klas and Enric then we went to dinner. So the afternoon and evening have been pretty packed.

Work was really nothing special. Had lunch with Kresten, Klas and Arkady, which was nice. Did some work throughout the day and read a whole bunch of PhD comics. Yeah, I didn't feel like doing much paper stuff between experiment stuff. So yeah, the weather was downright perfect for the canal tour: blue skies, just the right number of clouds, 70's and a breeze off the water. Perfect. My camera died about 20 minutes into the tour, though, so I don't have many pictures. Good thing I've seen most of the things from land already. :-)

And now to sleep. This is my last weekend in Copenhagen and so tomorrow I'm planning on heading to Malmo, Sweden. It's a 40 minute train ride from Hellerup and, since it's so close, I really think I should go. So I will! :-)

My prayer requests remain the same, especially for Yujie as she hasn't been sleeping well. Also pray for me as I've begun to feel a bit homesick, which I think is a result of the fact that I know I have to leave soon so I might as well feel homesick. But I am sad to have to leave and cannot wait to see what opportunities, challenges and memories the next week here will hold.

Have a wonderful night/day/afternoon,
Bekah
